Hand carved of Mindi wood solids and veneer, this cabinet features a dramatic stepped diamond pattern on its front and sides. The top mimics the diamond pattern in a rich veneer inlay. Diamond shaped pulls accent the four drawers.

Against the wall, the storage piece looks like it was always meant to be there. The overall effect is polished but still relaxed.

To my eye, the proportions are what made this cabinet click in the family room. The proportions are substantial but not bulky. It has a lived-in quality that works better than something overly formal.

From across the dining room, we had been making do with a temporary solution, and this finally made the room feel complete. The small details give the piece more character than the photos suggested. We have a mix of finishes at home, and this slipped into that mix more easily than expected.
