Near the dining table, it makes the whole area feel a little more finished. The concealed storage is useful without making the piece look utilitarian. The details are more subtle than I pictured online, although that has made it easier to live with day to day. It fits the room naturally and was a smart addition.

Beside our favorite objects, it gives the family room a more finished rhythm. The profile feels collected rather than formal. The overall effect is polished but still relaxed. It sits easily with the rest of our furniture.

For the scale of our study, the silhouette is what made this display piece click in the study. It is nice to have the everyday clutter out of view. It brings a quieter, more finished feeling to the study.

Close to our favorite objects, it does not compete with the rest of the room, which is exactly why it works. The proportions work with the furniture we already own. We have a mix of finishes at home, and this slipped into that mix more easily than expected.
