Description
Borge Mogensen's A232 sideboard first appeared in the FDB Mobler catalog in 1964, and in the decades that followed it became a coveted item of vintage furniture. With a reputation like that, it's no surprise that this piece has now found its way back into the company's current lineup. A distinguished representative of the work of one of Danish furniture design's most prominent names, it manages to be both supremely functional, with its wide range of storage options, and, thanks to an FSC -certified veneer finish and custom-crafted brass components, thoroughly stylish. Relaxed top surface is useful for serving and display. It blends with our dining furniture better than I expected. I like that the clean modern lines adds interest without making the piece look fussy.

This sideboard is not flashy, but it is useful. The surface is easy enough to wipe down after normal use.

Inviting details keep the piece from looking plain. The cabinet doors help the room look cleaner even when life gets busy. The way the clean modern lines works with the shape is really nice.

Late night kitchen wall looks more finished. The size is the part I was most worried about, and it ended up being right. The kitchen wall is easier to use with it there.
