    In our study, the previous piece was all function and no personality; this is a much better middle ground. The scale makes a blank wall feel more complete. It has slightly more visual presence than I expected, so measuring the space first is important. There is a nice balance here between visual interest and everyday usefulness. The scale makes the surrounding pieces look more balanced too. It brings a quieter, more finished feeling to the study.

    Exactly what that corner needed. The profile works with the furniture we already own. The piece is more substantial than it appears in the photos, which is worth keeping in mind for a smaller room. The piece photographs well, but the scale is what really works in person.
