Its overall scale has a quiet way of pulling the work corner together. The overall scale reads beautifully in person. The room finally feels as though it has a plan.

The previous piece was all function and no personality; this is a much better middle ground. The work surface feels generous without being oversized. We have a mix of finishes at home, and this slipped into that mix more easily than expected.
