Behind the sofa surface has a better balance. The finish looked a little different under our lights, but still good.

The couch area feels less pieced together. The surface is easy to keep looking clean after use. The room needed a wall piece, and the classic styling gave it a little extra style.

The table height is useful without making the room feel busy. It feels stable, which matters for a piece we use every day.

My wife asked where it came from, and the piece still works for the room. It does the job without looking cheap. I would not overthink it, but I would measure first. It does not feel too delicate for everyday use.

Plain entryway guest use works better than expected. The surface is easy enough to wipe down after normal use. The wood tone is the detail I notice most.
