To my eye, this desk has the right amount of presence for the guest room office. It has a lived-in quality that works better than something overly formal.

With our layout, what I appreciate most is how it gives the workday a clearer place to begin and end. The finish works with the furniture we already own. The piece photographs well, but the scale is what really works in person.

Placed by the window in my office, it brought a little order to an otherwise awkward area. It sits easily with the rest of our furniture.
