Near the entry, the chest looks like it was always meant to be there. It does exactly what we hoped it would.

In our bedroom, my parents noticed the change before anything else in the room. The proportions give it more presence than the footprint suggests. I like that it does not fight with the other furniture in the bedroom. The room finally feels as though it has a plan. It does the job without looking like it is trying to do too much.

Near the seating area, I expected it to be mainly decorative, but it has become one of the more useful pieces in the room. It is nice to have the everyday clutter out of view. The piece is more substantial than it appears in the photos, which is worth keeping in mind for a smaller room.
