Placed near the entry, it brought a little order to an otherwise awkward area. The tailored upholstery gives the piece more character than the photos suggested. It has a lived-in quality that works better than something overly formal.

Because the tailored upholstery works with our existing pieces, there was no need to rethink the whole room.

From across the entry, the useful part is what won me over after it was in place. The tailored upholstery reads beautifully in person. The finish reads a little warmer in person than it did on my screen, but it ended up working well with our existing pieces. It was an easy yes once we saw it in place.

The tailored upholstery is what made this storage piece click in the guest room. It has a nice balance of function and character. There is a nice balance here between visual interest and everyday usefulness.
