In the living room, this accent cabinet solved a space problem without announcing itself. The front has enough detail to give the room personality. The proportions read beautifully in person. It was a thoughtful addition to the room.

For an area that gets used every day, it strikes a useful balance between good looks and practicality.

In a smaller-footprint home, I expected it to be mainly decorative, but it has become one of the more useful pieces in the room. It makes the wall feel finished without dominating it. The overall effect is polished but still relaxed.
