This bed has the right amount of presence for the guest room. The lines work with both older and newer pieces we already own.

Near the existing dresser, the practical side showed up right away: it sets a calm foundation for the rest of the room. The finish gives the piece more character than the photos suggested. The finish reads a little warmer in person than it did on my screen, but it ended up working well with our existing pieces. I am glad we went with it.

At home, we had been making do with a temporary solution, and this finally made the room feel complete. The design is distinctive without becoming a distraction.

Placed against the main bedroom wall, it brought a little order to an otherwise awkward area. It sits easily with the rest of our furniture. The details are more subtle than I pictured online, although that has made it easier to live with day to day.
