  • Sligh Studio Designs is a unique assortment of consoles and desks comprised of an exceptional array of design and custom finishes.
  • The concept behind the TV consoles was to create a collection through which we could design distinctive pieces that highlight furniture as the room's statement piece rather than the electronic equipment.
  • The new home office is a stylish extension of one's interior decor and a room that directly reflects the personality of its occupant.
  • The desks blend the form and fucntion for which Sligh is known, with an inspiring dose of designer style and color.
  • Decorative metal bases feature polished stainless steel and antique brass.
  • Tops showcase red lacquer, rosewood, a custom parchment finish and sea mist faux Shagreen leather.
  • Featuring a soft concave shape and Eucalyptus veneers in a dove gray finish, the Westport writing desk conveys a fresh contemporary look.
  • Custom hardware, decorative stretchers, and metal ferrules on the legs are all finished in brushed nickel.
  • Three drawers offer ample storage, with the left and right facing drawers having built-in dividers.

In the work corner, the work table looks like it was always meant to be there. The finish works with the furniture we already own. The scale is right for a real office rather than a staged corner. The scale makes the surrounding pieces look more balanced too. It is proof that one good piece can change a room.

Seen in context, we had been making do with a temporary solution, and this finally made the room feel complete.

At home, this desk has the right amount of presence for the work corner. That part of the room finally makes sense.

Near the office chair, there is something very easy about the way it fits the room.
