Near my monitor, it makes the setup feel more useful and less staged. It has a polished look that still works for everyday use. We have not had to rethink the placement once.

From across the study, the room looked more settled the minute we put it in place. It makes video calls look a little more put together too. It has slightly more visual presence than I expected, so measuring the space first is important. The overall scale reads beautifully in person. It earns its place every day. I am glad we went with it.

Close to the bookcase, it does not compete with the rest of the room, which is exactly why it works. The overall scale gives the piece more character than the photos suggested. I like that it does not fight with the other furniture in the home office. It brings a quieter, more finished feeling to the home office. I can see it working with us for many years.
